Venison Special Ingredients
Venison
Venison is high in protein and iron but yet low in fat. It is rich in many nutrients like vitamins B12, B6, riboflavin and niacin. We purchase all of our Venison from Daniels Meats, a USDA facility in Southern California that specializes in fresh, top quality restaurant meats.
Butternut Squash
Butternut Squash are high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. It is high in dietary fiber, vitamins A and C, omega 3 fatty acids, folate, copper, B6, niacin, pantothenic acid and potassium.
Sweet Potato
Sweet potatoes contain a unique root storage protein that have significant antioxidant capabilities and are an excellent source of vitamin A and a very good source of vitamin C and manganese. Sweet potatoes for dogs are also high in beta-caratine and a good source of copper, dietary fiber, Vitamin B6, potassium and iron.
Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts are high in antioxidants such as vitamins C, E and A and are also high in omega -3 fatty acids and vitamin K, both aid in the prevent of inflammation. Brussels sprouts are high dietary fiber, manganese, iron, riboflavin, copper, and calcium.
Cranberries
Cranberries are considered to be one of the world's most healthy foods. Cranberries for dogs provide an excellent source of vitamin C, a very good source of dietary fiber and a good source of vitamin K.
Cranberries promote gastrointestinal health by preventing bacteria from attaching to cells and disrupting bacterial communication. They are also full of antioxidants, flavonoids and polypenols which can protect dogs against heart disease, free-radical damage, artherosclerosis (clogged arteries) and urinary tract infections.
