Real Ingredients

Completely Transparent. We have no secrets about the things that matter to pets and their parents, not even our coveted recipes.

Turkey Breast

Turkey breast is a high-quality source of lean protein and contains selenium, iron, zinc, phosphorus, potassium and B vitamins.

Whole oats are used as a nutritious source of dietary fiber. Specific to metabolic disease, oats have been shown to support insulin sensitivity in a randomized, double-blind clinical trial in humans. Oats have also been shown to support favorable changes in cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) and have high satiety scores, making it an excellent ingredient choice for a metabolic diet.

Acorn squash is also high in dietary fiber and protein, containing up to 9 grams of dietary fiber and 2 grams of protein per cup serving. It is also rich in vitamins B6 and E, potassium and magnesium, and contains a significant amount of vitamin C.

Chicken egg whites are a low-fat source of highly bioavailable proteins.

Ground beef is considered a high-quality source of protein and is also rich in iron and zinc, as well as vitamins B12 and B6.

Whole psyllium husk is used medicinally as a source of dietary fiber. Dietary fiber provides a filling effect and can also promote steady glucose absorption. Diets with increased dietary fiber have been clinically proven to improve blood glucose curves in conjunction with insulin therapy.

Beef liver is a nutrient-dense food that contains a concentrated volume of protein and vitamin A. It’s a rich source of heme iron, the most absorbable form of iron, and is high in bioavailable copper, folate, riboflavin, niacin, phosphorus and zinc.

Coconut oil contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), healthy fats that have been shown to help support the liver’s efficiency at metabolizing energy.

Icelandic Premium Fish Oil provides omega-3 fatty acids in highly biologically available forms of EPA and DHA.

The JFFD Nutrient Blend is formulated specifically for each recipe to meet AAFCO recommendations. The blend is compounded from 100% human-grade nutraceuticals regulated by the FDA.
